Hey guys
The last I heard (through email) was that megaranoelle was no longer going to be our committee head. We need to discuss what our next move is. I will volunteer to be a co-head, but I will definitely need to have someone else sharing this responsibility since there is no way I will be able to do it all by myself.
I am still away from home until Monday night, so I may be slow in replying to anything. Please bear with me. The thing is I have seen no activity since I got the email on Sat morning, so I wanted to step in and see if I could get some dialog started or get the ball rolling on what our plan is going to be.
Meeting Times
Alright crafty people, tentatively we’re gonna have our meetings on Saturdays at 11am (EST), starting this saturday the 2nd of March (except for pre-planned vacation :-). I’ll email a reminder, but the times are also posted on the Con forums. Please let me know if this time doesn’t work, or even is maybe Sunday would be better.
I have Skype, and if everyone else has that, that’s what we’ll use for meetings. Voice calls so no worries about being on camera. :) If someone wants to volunteer to take notes of the meetings then email them me, that would be awesome. Message me your Skype names, either on here, or email, and I’ll add you on Skype.
Also be sure you’re checking out the forums, a lot of information goes on there. And if you haven’t PM believeitgirl to let her know what committee you’re in so you can then see all the planning forums.

Hey there crafty people! Just getting an idea for what days/times are good for everyone for committee meetings. We’ll have them at least once every two weeks, and they won’t be too long, depending on what we’re talking about. Also let me know what timezones you’re in, and your preferred way to talk, (ie: Skype, Google+, IM). Thanks! :D

This is just a taste of some of the things you can do with yarn. If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to knit to crochet let us know! Because we can make this happen at Tumbl-Con US! Always wanted to make that Doctor Who scarf? Want to make those gloves that Ori wears in The Hobbit?
Have an idea for the committee? Know of something that you’ve always wanted to learn and you think others would too? Let us know! Send us a message or join the committee! We’re looking for people who can draw, sew, work with fibers of any kind, yarn or even fabric. Work with wire or clay? Come on over! :D
